Mongun-ool Ondar won the 1992 International Grand Prix Throat Singing 
Competition at age 16. Well-versed in the sygyt, kargyraa, khöömej, and 
borbaŋnadyr throat singing styles, Ondar has evolved his own unique style of 
throat singing.
