All sources I have say the tuning is usually a fifth apart. I've never heard of a doshpuluur tuned a forth apart, but I modified the article to include it. --Sborsody 20:57, 18 December 2005 (PST)

Hi. Actually forth is easer to play Tyvan music when song accompanied by two-stringed doshpuluur. According "Atlas: Muzykal'nykh Instrumentov Narodov SSSR (1975)" mentioned " "turned it a forth, or more rerely, a fifth". See also "Tuvinskaya Narodnaya Musika (1964)" says "turned in a forth, a fifth or even one octave" --Rikitiki
