Tuvan is an agglutinating language building the meaning of a word in relation to its function by means of suffixes which usually carry just a single grammatical meaning. Nouns decline for seven cases, verbs conjugate for 3 persons, in two numbers (except in the imperative) and suffixes can be added to distinguish tense, aspect mood and the use of auxiliary verbs can add further meaning.
