Tyvan (aka Tuvan, Tuvinian, Tyva dyl) is a little-known Turkic language from southern Siberia. It is spoken by around 200,000 people in the Republic of Tyva (Tuva) as well as surrounding areas. It contains many words borrowed from nearby Mongolian. The Russian language has been an influence in the last hundred years or so.
